No hardware is required! To prevent the door shield from swinging when in use, CLAWGUARD products come with a quality adhesive mounting fastener to use as needed when installing door shields throughout your home. See product instructions for more information.  

Easy to install, CLAWGUARD Door Shields act as a protective barrier to door and door frames, shielding the most commonly targeted areas by dog and cats. Simply hang your door shield on the door knob, attach optional adhesive fastener to prevent swinging (if needed) and your door and door frame is protected. CLAWGUARD Door Shields were designed to fit inside OR outside the door. For outside use, simply pop the Door Shield on the knob, bend slightly from the top then close the door. In some cases, CLAWGUARD Protection Tape has been reported to remove painted or stained surfaces due to the variance of synthetics used to make the paint or stain. If needed, use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive to remove clean.

No! Use as directed. Not recommended for old, fragile or antique leather couches that have withered, chipped, frayed or damaged leather as the adhesion may remove grade.

Simply cver the targeted area with your CLAWGUARD Furniture Shield. Use the included clear upholstery twist pins to firmly lock the protective barrier in place - no shifting or fuss! Find the pre-cut hole and easily twist the pin to lock securely into fabric. To remove, simply counter twist to remove. Pins are reusable. Do not use pins in leather.

No! Although the provided upholstery twist pins will not leave marks on fabric furniture, the pins will puncture leather. Therefore, using the upholstery twist pins are not recommended for use on leather furniture.

CLAWGUARD Mounting Tape is a double-sided sticky tape that is designed to hold various CLAWGUARD protection shields in place. No Hardware needed! Remove the clear liner from both sides of the tape and apply it to the shield - then press the shield into place on your desired surface.

To remove CLAWGUARD Mounting Tape from surfaces, gently start at one corner and peel away. You can also warm the adhesive with a hair dryer to easily remove the adhesive without leaving any sticky residue.
